The IRA has decided to conduct  Four more CME programmes in medical colleges this year  for UG and PG students to increase awareness  of rheumatology among medical students. Applications are invited from members in medical colleges for conducting CMEs in the medical colleges in India in 2011.

Objectives: To teach basic rheumatology to enhance early recognition and proper management of rheumatic diseases

Target Audience:  Post graduate students in Medicine, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics,Physical medicine  and final year MBBS students

Resource persons: One faculty member from the medical college, two IRA  members nominated by IRA executive committee and other  local speakers( if needed)

Duration : One full day ( Saturdays or Sundays)

Funding:  IRA  ( No funding by other agencies allowed)

Please submit a detailed proposal  including  name of college, outline of the programme,tentative dates, resource persons,budgets etc to the IRA secretary before 1^st March 2011 for consideration by the Executive committee
