Making of IRACON- an adventures journey, is the title of my experience which comes with immense learning and sharpening my management skills over a period of a year. It taught me something which I would have otherwise never learnt - people and work management.

IRACON 2022 with the theme: “Indian Rheumatology- Future is Now” is the right platform to discuss and understand the way forward considering what the world has experienced in last 2 years.

Two years ago when we were entrusted with the task of organising this conference we were very thrilled and excited. But then came the question of accomplishing the goals set/ desired for IRACON 2022. With all the anxiety and apprehensions in mind, we started this journey. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”. This saying was understood in its true sense when my colleagues joined hands in making this journey memorable and smooth standing by me at every corner working tirelessly to deliver the best. The time flew under pressure with fun and learnings. With this I thank my organizing committee with heartfelt gratitude for their dedication and contribution in reaching where we are today.

We have tried our best to leave no stone unturned in making your experience a memorable one and you go back with the rich information as a proud stakeholder of the rheumatology world. We lived by“Atithi Devo Bhavo” every minute during the planning of the conference.

Few paths are made simpler with the blessings of the mentors. Any letter would not be complete without thanking and expressing gratitude towards the Dr. V.P.Pandey , Organizing Chairman, Dr. Debashish Danda, Scientific Chair and my teacher and all the office bearers of IRA who lit the torch and paved the way for IRACON 2022.

I am sure IRACON 2022 will meet your expectations in both knowledge and fun. Do take out time to visit the city along with attending the scientific sessions and contributing your best.
